The minimum recommended specs for the Oculus Rift are:
-A video card *at least* as powerful as the GTX 970 or AMD 290
-You need at least an Intel i5-4590 processor, which is a quad-core 3.3GHz processor with max turbo up to 3.7GHz
-You need at least 8GB of RAM
-You need to be running your PC on Windows 7, Service Pack 1 or newer.
-You need at least two USB 3.0 ports
-And you need a graphics card that has HDMI 1.3 video output supporting a 297MHz clock via direct output architecture.
Most manufacturers don’t tell us if their video cards or laptops support direct architecture, so the best way to know for sure whether or not your computer can run the Oculus Rift is to go to the Oculus website, and download the compatibility tool:
For the best VR performance, go with a Core i7, like a 7700 or newer, 16GB RAM, and a fast video card, i.e. GTX1070 or newer.
Correction : There is no GTX 1060 Ti video card, So a GTX 1060 video card will do the job.
