Virtual Reality, or VR as they call it in short, is a growing technology that a few decades ago we thought would only exist in sci-fi movies. Well, it is very much a reality today and the consumers market seems to be growing hungry for it.

We are living in an era of exponential technology growth. The use of VR has found a home not only with games but also in other entertainment industries.

The number of VR users on Steam has increased by double in 2018. Though it is not a very big number overall and the share of the users using VR tech and playing VR games is very small compared to the number of overall Steam users.

Nonetheless, the technology seems to be growing in demand. It is a bit expensive at the moment and relatively young. It is not perfect by any means but VR games have been a very enjoyable experience. Games like Beat Saber, Transference, Skyrim VR and more have shown what an immersive experience they can be.

The most popular gear for VR is currently Oculus Rift and HTC Vive. Sony’s PlayStation is also a big competitor in the market with PlayStation VR (PSVR in short) released 2 years ago and selling more than 3 million units worldwide.

So let us take a look at the best games for VR across all platforms in 2019. A lot of these games do not have a fixed release date yet, but we can expect to see them.

Stormlands is an open-world game where you play as a robot in an environment controlled by robots. It has futuristic guns, a breathtaking setting and so many other cool features such as ripping off parts from dead robots to upgrade your own.
